In our lesson with Fenella, we were getting into the gothic spirit by practicing dark lips and eyes! We chose a couple of pictures of what makeup interested us. I chose John Galliano S/S 2010 "Yesterday Once More"
A trip to Hollywood brought the old memories back, the starlets in old black and white movies were revived by Galliano.
Factors to create this look:
- Curled lashes
- Thin brows
- Silver and gold to light up the inner corners of the eyes.
The eyes are meant to look a bit dirty. Smudge the colours largely from brows eyes to the cheeks. Stars wrapped in caps, some puff-like chignons, covered with nets, accessorised with feathers, pearls, laces, papers, or dried flowers - sprayed with colours.

Unfortunately I didn't have my camera on me, so could only take the photographs from my phone. Meaning that the flash wouldn't obviously work, resulting in the colour pigments and shines not showing up. Because I enjoyed this lesson so much, I stayed on an extra 2 hours and did another look!

Overall, I am really happy with how these have turned out, it was just a shame about the camera not being able pick up the pigments, making the colours look dull.
