Because I decided to create Miss Havisham for TV/Film, I am obviously going to do the same for estella. Although I know I am going to create Estella for TV/Film, I still want to research into the different styles of how she can be portrayed so I can compare and contrast them.

Theatre
- Heavy makeup
- Strong contour
- Dark lips
- Must be exaggerated for people to see
- Dark curly hair (quite simple)
- Bold colours for costumes

TV/Film
- Natural makeup
- More complex hairstyles (HD picks it up)
- Costumes don't look to stagey. More realistic choice of style and colours.
Overall, comparing the two different images we can see the clear difference. For stage makeup it needs to be applied more obviously so that people can see it form afar. Whereas, TV/Film makeup needs to be flawless as the camera picks up every flaw. It is applied more natural and everything looks more realistic. This is how I will be creating my version of Estella.
